Its all a matter of where you will be the happiest.
If it means relocation, and you are still young , then go there. That will mean lots of moving, readjusting, buying a new property, losing friends and neighbors etc.
It will also mean that you will have to sell that property you are paying 4000 a month on at a loss. WHo in their right minds would buy such a property?
Can you rent it out?

Do you like drug cartels, kidnapping of foreigners, security guards, a massive under class ?
I would suggest a safer area, especially if you don’t blend in. There are several South American countries that are safer than Mexico and offer similar advantages in spending.
Also, you’d lose a TON of money by selling your house now.

If you love things Mexican and speak Spanish, then it is very inviting to move to Mexico because of the economics involved in your statements. But where would you work in Mexico? It’s good if you can work as an expat, that would be perfect. About the women, yes, Mexican women are beautiful and hot, but also American women are beautiful and hot.
